Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Samples and Data
Sample Collection
The King’s Health Partners Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN Biobank sample collection includes Blood samples processed and stored in the following derivatives: whole blood, PBMCs, serum, and plasma. We also have the capacity to collect and store bone marrow samples for research projects.
Data collection
Associated pathological data and patient demographic, clinical and follow-up information from patients with a variety of MPN types are also collected with the aim of providing to researchers to better understand MPNs and to develop new treatments. The following can be provided:

Demographic data: Age at diagnosis, gender, ethnicity, family history.

Clinical data: Stage, treatment types and duration.

Pathological data: Tumour size, type and grade.

Follow-up data: Time to local and distant recurrence, distant recurrence site, time to last seen in clinic, time to and cause of death.​​
